Boys Hockey traveled to Shakopee on Saturday, January 14 for a match-up with the Sabers. The Tigers lost the game 6-4.
Shakopee scored four unanswered through the first two periods of the game to take a 4-0 lead.
Dylan Wolf broke the Tigers' scoring drought with an even strength goal at 11:08 assisted by
Cade Fitzloff and
Luke Rice.
The Tigers would storm back early in the third period tacking on three more goals, all of which came on the power play.
Luke Coolidge scored at 6:05 from
Luke Walton,Â
Kyler Schwamb scored from
Luke Coolidge and
Zach Rouleau, and
Charlie Pire scored at 9:08 from
Jacob Miller and
Luke Walton to tie the game at 4 goals a piece.
In the game's final minutes, Shakopee scored two quick goals to put the game out of reach.
