Girls Hockey traveled to Shakopee on Saturday, January 14 for a SSC match-up with the Sabers. Farmington lost the game 6-2.
Shakopee scored the first period's lone goal and a shorthanded goal to start the second period to go up 2-0.
Madison Kadrlik scored the Tigers' first goal at 9:07 in period two on a power play. The goal was assisted by
Abby Gehrke.
Shakopee would answer with two more goals before Alexo Bricko would score from
Kennedy Meier and
Abby Gehrke on the power play to pull the Tigers within two goals after two period.
The Sabers tacked on two more goals in the final frame and Farmington could not answer.
