The Tigers Boys Hockey team looked to stop the slide in the new year as they welcomed in the Lakeville North Panthers on Tuesday evening.
Â
The night started off fantastic for the Tigers who notched two power play goals and led 2-0 after one period.
Luke Walton assisted on the first goal to
Kyler Schwamb and then scored the second.
Â
However, it took only four minutes in the second period for the Panthers to equalize. The game remained locked at two heading into the third period.
Â
The Panthers tacked on two more in the third period to lead 4-2, before the Tigers finally stopped the unanswered slide with a nasty goal off a steal from sophomore
Brandon Risch. However, it would not be enough as the Tigers fell 4-3. Â
