The Tigers Boys Hockey team looked for their first win in the new year as they welcomed in the Prior Lake Lakers for a Saturday matinee.
 
This matchup was a defensive grinder that remained scoreless until the final five minutes of regulation. Senior goaltender Jack McGregor was an unstoppable force in net all afternoon, making save after save.
 
However, the offense failed to pick up their goalie as they were not able to scratch across a goal all afternoon against the Lakers.
 
The Tigers turned over the puck in their own end late, leading to the Prior Lake game winner all alone in front of the net. The Lakers tacked on an empty-netter and the Tigers fell 2-0.
