The Tiger Girls Hockey team then took center stage to wrap up Hockey Fights Cancer day in Farmington.
 
The Tigers fought to a scoreless tie after one period of play thanks to great work in between the pipes by Addison Moudry.
 
The Lakers struck first in the second period, but were immediately answered by the Tigers and Morgan Mitchell less than a minute after. The Tigers were again tied with the Lakers at the end of two periods, 1-1 this time.
 
The Tigers surrendered two unassisted goals to the Lakers in the final period of regulation followed by an empty – netter in the final minute. They fell in the conference matchup 4-1.
