Girls Hockey hosted Apple Valley on Saturday, January 7 at Schmitz-Maki Arena. The Tigers came up short, losing 3-1.

Apple Valley scored the first period's only goal to lead 1-0 at the end of the period.

The Eagles netted a goal early in the second period to extend the lead to 2-1 before Abby Gehrke converted a Tiger power play from Makenna and Madison Kadrlik to score the Tigers' lone goal.

One additional Apple Valley goal at the end of the second period made the game 3-1.
