Farmington, Minn. -- For the second consecutive year, the Lady Tigers took care of Rochester Mayo in the quarterfinals at home. This year, the Tigers won going away 3-0.
Freshman Madigan McGhie opened up the scoring in the first half with a rebound goal from the center of the box off a Tiger corner.
That lead stood until about midway through the second half when Jillian Hagman sniped home the second goal. Moments later, Lauren McGough broke down the right side of the pitch and crossed a perfect ball over to Gianna Carpentier who put home the final goal. It was Carpentier's first varsity goal of her career.
For a second straight year, the Tigers will head to Lakeville South for a Section Semi Final Matchup.
