Girls Hockey Improves To 2-0 With Win Over Apple Valley

Farmington, Minn. -- Girls Hockey improved to 2-0 on the young season with a wire-to-wire victory over previously unbeaten Apple Valley, 6-1.
 
Paige Johnson scored a hat trick and tallied a team-leading four points in the victory. Jenna Goblirsch added a goal late to tie the two teammates for most goals scored this season.
 
Amelia Goblirsch added a goal to her impressive season of tallying assists and captain Morgan Mitchell scored her second goal of the season along with tallying two assists.
 
The Tiger penalty kill unit is now a perfect seven for seven with three short handed goals all scored by Johnson.
 
The Tiger Power Play unit went a perfect two for two in the win and is now three for four on the season. The unbeaten Lady Tigers head to Lakeville South on Tuesday.
