Farmington, Minn. -- The Tigers improved to 8-1 on the season with a wire-to-wire 4-1 win over Metro South.
 
Jenna Goblirsch tallied a hat trick and Taylor Risch added a goal of her own. The Tigers notched two goals from Jenna within five minutes and held that lead all the way until half way through the third period.
 
The Phoenix scored their only goal to make it an interesting 2-1 contest, however Risch and Jenna's third and final goal on an empty net would put the game away.
