Lakeville, Minn. -- Farmington Wrestling traveled to Lakeville North High School on Thursday, December 7 for a double dual that included matches with Prior Lake and #8 Apple Valley.
The Tigers would split matches picking up a 34-30 victory over Prior Lake and falling 27-41 to the Eagles.Â
The first two weights would go unfilled when Farmington squared off with Prior Lake.
Blake Han-Lindemyer got things started at 121 pounds picking up 6 points earning a victory by fall over Wyatt Smith.
At 127 pounds,
Tyler Chenevert won by major decision over Owen Trondson earning another 4 points for the Tigers. The 133 pound weight class was open.
At 139 pounds,
Zach Olson lost a close match by 7-4 decision to Bloomquist from Prior Lake.
Davis Parrow earned a victory at 145 pounds winning by fall at 1:18.Â
Ethan Mangowi battled in a tough match at 152 coming up short in a 6-3 decision.
Jad Nakib earned a victory at 160 beating Scott Hendricks 7-4 to earn the team 3 points.
Edon Davis won by fall at 172 and Cole Han-Linedmyer won by fall at 189.
William Preston fell to Zurn from Prior Lake at 215.
Dylan Henrikson sealed the deal for the Tigers earning the team's final 3 points winning by 3-1 decision at 285.
Farmington wrestled #8 ranked Apple Valley in the team's second match of the night. Farmington would fall to the Eagles 41-27.
Apple Valley would earn 12 quick points after Farmington forfeits at 107 pounds and 114 pounds. At 121 pounds,
Blake Han-Lindemyer won by way of 6-0 decision over Jose Calvillo.Â
Tyler Chenevert kept the momentum going picking up a win by major decision at 127 pounds. The Tigers did not fill the 133 pound weight class.
Zach Olson lost by fall at the 139 pound weight class.
Davis Parrow won by fall at 145 pounds.
Tyler Sullivan and
Jad Nakib would come up short in their matches at 152 pounds and 160 pounds respectively.Â
Edon Davis won 9-2 at 172 pounds and
Cole Han-Lindemyer would pick up a tech fall victory 17-1 over Myles Matthies.
William Preston fell to Marcell Booth at 215 and
Dylan Henrikson remained unbeaten on the night winning by fall at 285.
