The Farmington Tigers Wrestling Team has earned the #2 seed in the upcoming Section 2 AAA team tournament.
Seeding for the team tournament took place on Saturday, February 11 at Lakeville South High School. The Tigers' South Suburban Conference record and overall record were good enough to earn the #2 seed as determined by their peers.
The team portion of the Section 2 AAA tournament begins this Friday, February 17 at Apple Valley High School. Below are the first-round matches.
#1 Apple Valley vs. #8 Lakeville South
#2 Farmington vs. #7 Burnsville
#3 Rosemount vs. #6 Lakeville North
#4 Prior Lake vs. #5 Eastview

Doors will open at 3:15 pm on Friday, February 17 and quarterfinal matches will begin at 4:00 pm with the semifinals and finals taking place 15 minutes following the conclusion of the previous round.
Ticket prices for Section 2 AAA events are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets may be purchased via cash at the gate.
Looking Ahead: Following the conclusion of the Section 2 AAA Team Tournament, the individual portion of the tournament will take place on Saturday, February 25 at Lakeville North High School. Seeding for the individual tournament will take place next Wednesday, February 22. Wrestling will begin on Saturday at 10:00 am.
