Boys Hockey hosted Shakopee on Tuesday, February 14 in a tough SSC game. The Tigers battled to the end, however, lost 4-2.
Shakopee struck first at 9:26 on the power play to go up 1-0.
Dylan Wolf answered right back scoring an even strength goal from
Jared Martin to tie things up.
The Sabers would add one more goal before the period ended to lead 2-1 at the break.
Shakopee scored the second period's only goal to extend their lead to 3-1 after two periods.
In the game's final frame, Shakopee scored just 11 seconds into the period before
Luke Rice scored the Tigers' second goal.
Despite a strong late-game effort, the Tigers would fall on home ice.
