Farmington, Minn. - The Farmington girls soccer team hosted the Hill-Murray Pioneers on Friday, September 1 in Tiger Stadium. Despite a number of well-earned scoring changes, the Tigers fell to the visitor 0-2.
The Pioneers broke the tie at the 10' mark finding the back of the net to build a 1-0 lead. The game would remain 1-0 through the end of the first half.
Hill-Murray and Farmington traded possession for the first 12 minutes of the second half before a nifty corner kick from the Pioneer put them up 2-0 at the 52' mark.
Farmington wouldn't go down without a fight managing to put together some good scoring chance - one shot hitting the post. The Tigers would come up empty, losing the contest 2-0.
