Apple Valley, Minn. -- Boys Swimming & Diving picked up their season's second SSC win beating the Eastview Lightning 94-81 on Tuesday night at Falcon Ridge Middle School.
In the 200 Individual Medley,
Justin Raymond (10) displayed a standout performance, securing the top spot and surpassing his previous best time by an impressive 3.54 seconds. Moving on to the 100 Breaststroke,
Adam Moorlach (11) claimed victory, while
Hudson Maakestad (10) secured 2nd place, both achieving personal bests in this event.
Jake Peterson (12) dominated the 100 Freestyle, clinching 1st place and establishing a new personal best time. The 500 Freestyle witnessed a strong showing from
Hantruy Nguyen, who secured 1st place. In the 100 Backstroke,
Daniel Budde (10) seized the top position, with
Collin Hawkins (10) earning 3rd place and both athletes setting new personal best times in the process.
The JV Boys 200 Medley Relay Team, composed of
Wyatt Ziegler (8), Eli Gobar (9),
Noah Roth (7), and
Wyatt Conine (10), showcased a stellar performance, securing the top spot. Moving on to the individual events, Eli Gobar (9) demonstrated his prowess in the 100 Breaststroke by claiming 1st place and trimming an impressive 9.58 seconds off his best time. In the Boys 100 Backstroke,
Wyatt Conine (10) from Farmington clinched 1st place, while
Evan Christensen (9) secured a commendable 2nd position. The 50 Free saw
Cyrus Elrod (12) emerging victorious in 1st place, with
Logan Lesher closely following in 2nd place.
