Max Hubbard Selected As New Head Boys Swim & Dive Coach

FARMINGTON, MN – Farmington High School Athletic Director, Keith Badger, announced on Monday that, pending school board approval, Max Hubbard has been named the next boys swimming & diving head coach at Farmington High School.

Coach Hubbard brings extensive competitive swimming experience, beginning at Rosemount High School, where he was a four-time All-American, seven-time All-State honoree, and served as team captain. He continued his career at the University of St. Thomas, earning multiple All-Conference honors and competing at the NCAA Division III National Championships. Coach Hubbard remains active in the sport today, competing through U.S. Masters Swimming.

Coach Hubbard began coaching swimming for District 196 while still in college, and coached the Rosemount High School team during the 2013-14 season. More recently, he has spent the last two years as an assistant coach for the Tigers.

"Having been a part of the team for two years now, I'm thrilled to be able to continue working with such a great group of boys. We'll be building off an incredible foundation, and I can't wait to see what the team is capable of."

"Max has been an integral part of our program the last two seasons and has already had a significant impact on our athletes and program as whole. We're fortunate to have him step into the head coaching role and lead our program to new heights", stated Athletic Director Keith Badger.

Coach Hubbard will be working with his staff and booster club to finalize summer participation opportunities. The plans will be available on the FarmingtonTigers.com website when available.
