FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers girls soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to the Prior Lake Lakers on Monday night at Tiger Stadium. The Lakers scored twice in the first half, and a scoreless second half saw the Tigers unable to recover.

Prior Lake got on the board early, scoring at 36:33 of the first half when a centering pass was converted into a goal. The Lakers doubled their lead with 18 minutes remaining in the first half, putting Farmington in a tough position. Despite some determined play, the Tigers were unable to generate a goal throughout the remainder of the match, and the second half ended without any additional scoring.

Farmington will travel to Burnsville on Wednesday, October 2, for their final regular-season game of the year.
