APPLE VALLEY, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers dropped a hard-fought contest to the Eastview Lightning, falling 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Apple Valley Sports Arena. The tightly contested game featured strong defensive efforts and stellar goaltending on both sides, with the lone goal coming on an Eastview power play in the third period.

After two scoreless periods, the Lightning broke the deadlock early in the third. Isaac Berberena netted the game-winner on the power play at 5:32, assisted by Liam O'Donnell and Samuel Wooten. Despite Farmington's relentless pressure, including a 16-shot effort in the final period, Eastview goaltender Charlie Scanlon turned away all 37 shots he faced to secure the shutout.
Farmington goaltender Chris Bade was equally impressive, stopping 29 of 30 shots and keeping the Tigers within striking distance throughout the game. The Tigers were unable to capitalize on their own power-play opportunities, going 0-for-5 with the man advantage.
