EDINA, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers faced a tough challenge Thursday night at Braemar Arena, falling 7-0 to the Edina Hornets in a non-conference matchup. The Hornets, known for their depth and speed, dominated the game with relentless offensive pressure, outshooting the Tigers 50-5.

Edina set the tone early, taking a 1-0 lead in the first period on a goal by Gina Russo. The Hornets extended their lead with two second-period goals, including a strike from Audrey Davis, who finished the night with two goals and three assists.
The third period saw Edina pull away with four additional goals, highlighted by a power-play goal from Davis and a short-handed tally by Cate McCoy. The Hornets capitalized on their opportunities, converting two of their three power-play chances.
Farmington's goaltender, Makena Underwood, faced a barrage of shots but stood tall with 43 saves, keeping the Tigers competitive despite the lopsided score.
