FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers cruised to a dominant 68-23 victory over the Tartan Titans on Tuesday night at Farmington High School. Bolstered by a smothering defense and balanced scoring, the Tigers raced to a 39-15 halftime lead and never looked back, holding Tartan to just eight points in the second half.

Farmington's offense was led by Ashley Harrison, who tallied 13 points while showcasing her versatility on both ends of the floor. Carly Olson added 9 points, and Gianna Carpentier and Ellie Peterson each contributed 8 points in the well-rounded effort.
The Tigers' defensive pressure was relentless, forcing 27 turnovers and converting them into 29 points. Farmington dominated the boards, collecting 19 offensive rebounds that fueled 24 second-chance points. Their control in the paint was evident, as the Tigers scored 38 points inside while holding Tartan to just four.
Contributions came from across the lineup. Bailey Garrahy added 7 points, while Magi Bjornson and Hannah Hansen each chipped in with 8 and 5 points, respectively. Ali Simonson rounded out the scoring with a solid performance, including 2 points and key contributions on defense.
Tartan struggled against Farmington's suffocating defense, shooting just 18.2% from the field and managing only five made field goals inside the arc.
