ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers faced a tough challenge Wednesday night, falling 7-0 to the No. 8 ranked Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights at the St. Louis Park Rec Center. The Tigers drop to 5-3 on the season and remain 4-1 in South Suburban Conference play.

The Red Knights struck quickly, scoring just 29 seconds into the game and never looked back. Benilde-St. Margaret's controlled the tempo from the start, adding another first-period goal before a dominant four-goal second period effectively sealed the victory.
Farmington struggled to generate offensive opportunities, managing just 13 shots on goal across three periods. Goaltender Makena Underwood made 45 saves on 52 shots for the Tigers, standing tall despite consistent pressure from the Red Knights' offense.
Benilde-St. Margaret's forward Katie Zakrajsheck opened the scoring early and contributed an assist, while Talla Hansen netted two goals and added one assist to lead the Red Knights' attack. Ella Pasqua added two goals, including the game's final tally late in the third period.
Despite the lopsided score, Farmington's penalty kill stepped up, holding Benilde-St. Margaret's scoreless on seven power-play opportunities.
