EAGAN, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers bounced back in commanding fashion with a 5-0 shutout victory over the Eagan Wildcats on Saturday afternoon at the Eagan Civic Arena. The Tigers improved to 6-3 overall and 5-1 in South Suburban Conference play with the win.

Farmington wasted no time establishing control, scoring four goals in the first period to take a commanding lead. Taylor Risch opened the scoring at 1:13, with assists from Jenna Goblirsch and Josey Empey. The Tigers kept up the pressure, with goals from Paige Johnson, Amara Zens, and Empey, capping off an explosive opening frame.
The second period saw strong defensive play from both teams, with Farmington successfully killing off multiple penalties to keep Eagan off the board.
In the third, Farmington added an exclamation point with a power-play goal from Ryann Bengston at 14:59, assisted by Zens and Lexi Giller.
Farmington goaltender Addison Moudry was stellar, stopping all 28 shots she faced for her second shutout of the season.
