Farmington, Minn. -- In the final regular-season matchup at Schmitz-Maki Arena in Farmington, the Farmington Tigers faced off against the Lakeville North Panthers in an intense boys hockey clash.
With both teams eyeing a victory to boost their standings, the stakes were high. The Tigers came into the game aiming to secure a favorable seeding in the upcoming Section 1AA Tournament, set for selection on Sunday, February 18.
The game started with a tight defensive battle, with neither team managing to break the deadlock in the opening period. However, the intensity heightened in the second period as Farmington's #11 Jacob Miller found the back of the net at 11:47, assisted by #19 Jack Budde and #9 Kellen Conway, giving the Tigers a crucial lead.

Despite facing a barrage of shots from Lakeville North, with the Panthers outshooting the Tigers 54 to 23, Farmington's defense stood strong, while their offense capitalized on key opportunities to secure the win. With the regular season now concluded, Farmington looks ahead to the Section 1AA Tournament, aiming to carry their momentum into the postseason.
