Farmington, Minn. -- In a commanding display of strength and skill, the Farmington High School boys' swimming and diving team secured a resounding victory over the Burnsville Blaze with a final score of 98-65. The Varsity meet showcased the Tigers' dominance, particularly evident in the 200 Medley Relay where Farmington claimed the top three spots. The quartet of

Justin Raymond (10), and Logan Lescher secured first place with a commendable time of 1:59.92. Noteworthy was the fact that all three teams not only clinched victory but also set new personal best times, highlighting the team's commitment to continuous improvement.
Continuing their impressive performance, the 200 IM witnessed another triumphant sweep for Farmington, with Justin Raymond (10) securing first place, Tyler West (10) taking second, and Ethan Lyons (11) claiming the third spot. Each swimmer delivered a stellar performance, achieving new personal best times in the process. The 100 Butterfly event further showcased Farmington's prowess, as Jake Peterson (12) clinched first place, while Hudson Maakestand (1) secured second, breaking the one-minute barrier for the first time.
In the Junior Varsity (JV) segment, the Tigers continued their winning streak. Wyatt Conine demonstrated his prowess by securing first place in the 100 Free, shaving an impressive 1.06 seconds off his best time. Wyatt Ziegler replicated the success in the 50 Freestyle, clinching the top spot and trimming 1.04 seconds from his personal best time. The JV performances added depth to Farmington's overall success, underlining the team's comprehensive and well-rounded skills across both Varsity and JV competitions.
