Farmington, Minn. -- The No. 3 seeded Farmington Tigers girls hockey team (17-8-1) is back in action this Saturday, February 10 in the Section 1AA Girls Hockey Tournament's semifnal game in a clash with the No. 2 seeded Lakeville South Cougars (20-3-3).
The game will take place at Lakeville's Hasse Arena at 7:00 pm.

This pivotal showdown marks the third encounter between the two teams this season, with each team having claimed victory once before. The Tigers secured a thrilling 4-3 overtime win in their first meeting on November 21 at Hasse Arena, while the Cougars dominated with a 4-0 victory in the second matchup on January 11 at Schmitz-Maki in Farmington.
With a spot in the Section 1AA Championship game on the line, both squads will undoubtedly bring their A-game to the ice. The winner of this semifinal clash will advance to the Section 1AA Championship game, slated for February 15 at 7:30 pm at the Owatonna Steele County Four Seasons Arena.
