Girls Golf Finished 2nd At Dakota County Invitational

Hastings, Minn. -- The Farmington Tigers showcased their skills at the Dakota County Girls Golf Invitational, securing a solid second place out of 10 competing teams with an impressive team score of 353. The event brought together top talent, and Farmington's golfers demonstrated their competitive edge throughout the day.

Leading the way for the Tigers were senior Kailey Watson and freshman Jayla Mao, both finishing with scores of 87. Watson achieved par on 6 of the 18 holes, while Mao matched her overall score by parring 4 holes and recording a birdie on the 14th. Their consistent performances were instrumental in the team's overall success.

Junior Annika Reuss contributed a strong round, finishing with a score of 90, placing 14th overall. Freshman Scarlett Hedrick followed closely behind, carding an 89 and securing the 13th spot in the standings, showcasing the depth of talent in Farmington's lineup.

Seventh-grader Chloe Friesz and freshman Alana Hansen rounded out the team with scores of 96 and 94, respectively. Friesz finished in 24th place, while Hansen took the 20th spot, both displaying promise for future competitions.
