FARMINGTON, Minn. -- The Farmington Tigers Girls Soccer team played their home opener on Saturday, August 24, against the Waconia Wildcats in a tightly contested non-conference match at Tiger Stadium.

Despite controlling possession for most of the game, the Tigers were unable to find the back of the net, resulting in a 0-0 draw.

Both teams created opportunities, but neither could capitalize, leading to a scoreless tie.

The result moves the Tigers to a 1-0-1 record for the season, while Waconia starts their campaign at 0-0-1.
