Tigers and Huskies Play to 0-0 Draw

FARMINGTON, Minn. -- The Farmington Tigers girls soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against the Owatonna Huskies on Saturday, September 21, at Tiger Stadium. The tie brings the Tigers' record to 2-3-6 on the season and 0-3-2 in South Suburban Conference play, while Owatonna, the top team in the Big 9 Conference, moves to 7-4-1 overall.

Both teams had moments of strong play throughout the match, but the game was ultimately defined by excellent goalkeeping on both sides. The Tigers and Huskies each created scoring opportunities, but neither team could break the deadlock as the match remained evenly contested from start to finish.

Farmington's defense stood tall against Owatonna's attack, while their offense applied pressure throughout the game but couldn't find the back of the net. Both teams traded possession and chances, but in the end, it was the goalkeepers who kept the game scoreless. Riley Solie played outstanding in net for the Tigers.

The Tigers will look to carry the positives from this evenly matched contest into their upcoming games as they continue to battle through a tough stretch of their season.
