Farmington Falls to Lakeville South 3-0 at Tiger Stadium

FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers struggled to generate offense on Thursday night, falling 3-0 to the Lakeville South Cougars at Tiger Stadium. The Cougars netted one goal in the first half and added two more in the second half to secure the victory. With the loss, the Tigers drop to 2-4-6 on the season.

RECAP

Lakeville South controlled possession throughout much of the game, maintaining 60% of the ball and outpacing the Tigers with consistent pressure. The Cougars broke the deadlock in the first half, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime. Farmington's defense worked hard but couldn't hold off the Cougars, who found the back of the net twice more in the second half to put the game out of reach.

The Tigers managed five shots on goal but were unable to capitalize on their chances. Despite holding 44.4% possession and stringing together 198 passes with 58% accuracy, the Tigers could not break through Lakeville South's defense.
