Farmington Struggles Against SSC-Leading Eagan in 6-0 Loss

EAGAN, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers girls soccer team faced a tough challenge on Tuesday night, falling 6-0 on the road against the South Suburban Conference-leading Eagan Wildcats. The Tigers were unable to find the net, leaving them still searching for their first conference win of the season.

RECAP

Eagan took control early in the match, maintaining 64.6% possession and putting relentless pressure on Farmington's defense. The Wildcats scored three goals in each half, overwhelming the Tigers with their consistent attacking play. Farmington managed only two shots on goal and struggled to create chances, completing just 47% of their passes in the attacking third.

Despite the lopsided scoreline, the Tigers showed moments of resilience in their defensive third, with five clearances and several key stops, but ultimately could not contain Eagan's high-powered offense.

UP NEXT

The Tigers will look to rebound this weekend as they host the non-conference Hastings Raiders on Saturday, September 28, at Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m.
