Boys Hockey Beaten By Lakeville South In Road Game

LAKEVILLE, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers put together a strong start but couldn't hold off a potent Lakeville South offense, falling 7-3 on Tuesday night at Hasse Arena. The Tigers drop to 5-9-1 overall and 2-7-0 in South Suburban Conference play.

RECAP
Farmington struck first late in the opening period when Jacob Miller converted on a power-play opportunity with assists from Tanner Gylling and Kellen Conway, giving the Tigers a 1-0 lead after one.

Lakeville South responded with a dominant second period, scoring four goals, including two from Oscar Balkins, to take control. The Tigers kept pace with Miller adding another power-play goal and Jackson Donahue finding the back of the net, but they trailed 4-3 heading into the final frame.

The Cougars sealed the game in the third period with three unanswered goals, highlighted by a hat trick from Jackson Ernst and a late tally from Tristan Lawrence. Despite a 48-save effort from goaltender Chris Bade, the Tigers were outshot 55-23.
