FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers fell to the Shakopee Sabers 9-2 in a South Suburban Conference clash on Friday night at Schmitz-Maki Arena. The Tigers now hold a 4-7-1 overall record and 1-5-0 in SSC play.

Shakopee set the tone early, outshooting Farmington 51-16 and capitalizing on scoring opportunities across all three periods. The Sabers struck first late in the opening frame and added four goals in each of the next two periods.
Jacob Miller provided the offensive highlights for Farmington, scoring both goals for the Tigers. His first goal came on a shorthanded breakaway in the second period, cutting the deficit to 3-1. Miller added his second goal on the power play in the third, assisted by Tanner Gylling and Jack Budde.
A significant milestone was achieved by goaltender Chris Bade, who recorded his 1,000th career save during the game. Bade made 42 saves against Shakopee, continuing to stand tall despite facing heavy pressure.
