MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Farmington High School's cross country teams closed out their 2025 seasons at the MSHSL Class AAA State Meet on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the University of Minnesota's Les Bolstad Golf Course.
RECAP
The Farmington girls, fresh off their Section 1AAA title, turned in a strong performance on the state's biggest stage, finishing eighth overall in the team standings.
Junior Lauren Lansing led the Tigers with a standout performance, placing 10th overall with a time of 18:05.9 on the 5K course. Lansing's top-10 finish helped anchor a solid team effort that included scoring runners from each high school grade level.
Eighth grader Shelby Carroll placed 52nd in 19:18.4, and freshman Mara Brock crossed the line 84th in 19:37.5. Junior Lilly Reuss (119th, 20:18.0) and senior Sophia Venning (120th, 20:18.1) rounded out the Tigers' scoring five.
On the boys side, sophomore Carter Lippold capped his season with an impressive showing, finishing 16th overall in 15:51.3. Junior Patrick Carroll placed 78th in 16:39.4, while senior Adam Johnson ended his high school career with a 93rd-place finish in 16:47.4.
