FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers boys' swim and dive team secured a hard-fought victory over Apple Valley in their dual meet on Friday, January 31, 2025. The Tigers claimed the varsity win with a final score of 92-82, while the junior varsity team put up a strong effort, finishing with 22 points to Apple Valley's 33.

The varsity meet kicked off with a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay, as the team of Hantruy Nguyen, Collin Hawkins, Tyler West, and Adam Moorlach clocked in at 1:46.74?.
In the 200-yard freestyle, Justin Raymond delivered a dominant performance, finishing first with a time of 1:53.19, while Wyatt Ziegler and Wyatt Conine secured valuable team points, placing fourth and fifth, respectively?.
Eli Montgomery shined in the 200-yard individual medley (IM), claiming first place with a time of 2:10.07, while Ethan Lyons followed with a strong second-place finish (2:28.20)?.
Sprinter Adam Moorlach showcased his speed, taking first place in the 50-yard freestyle (22.13), with Tyler West earning second place (25.05)?.
In the 100-yard butterfly, Justin Raymond finished first (57.79), while teammates Hudson Maakestad and Collin Hawkins followed in second (1:00.29) and third place (1:03.57), securing key points for the Tigers?.
The 100-yard freestyle saw another dominant performance from Moorlach, who placed first (48.40), while Montgomery earned second place (51.72)?.
Hantruy Nguyen took control of the 500-yard freestyle, finishing first with a time of 4:59.79, and Eli Gobar contributed with a second-place finish (5:39.34)?.
Farmington's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Moorlach, West, Raymond, and Montgomery earned first place with a strong time of 1:34.44, maintaining the Tigers' lead?.
In the 100-yard backstroke, Nguyen dominated, finishing first with a time of 59.96, while Hawkins placed third (1:04.74)?.
The meet concluded with an exciting performance in the 400-yard freestyle relay, as the team of Raymond, Hawkins, Montgomery, and Nguyen posted a time of 3:36.12, securing Farmington's team victory?.
