LAKEVILLE, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers boys' swim and dive team delivered an outstanding effort in their dual meet against Lakeville South on Friday, February 7, 2025. In a highly competitive contest, the Tigers fell just short in varsity with a final score of 95-91, while the junior varsity team secured victory with a score of 26-13.

The meet started with a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay, as the team of Daniel Budde, Ethan Lyons, Hudson Maakestad, and Tyler West posted a time of 1:50.46?.
In the 200-yard freestyle, Hantruy Nguyen claimed first place with a time of 1:51.13, followed by Eli Montgomery in second place (1:56.62) and Eli Gobar in fourth (2:04.09), adding crucial points for the Tigers?.
Justin Raymond delivered a strong performance in the 200-yard individual medley (IM), securing second place with a time of 2:06.76, while Collin Hawkins finished fourth (2:15.98)?.
Sprinter Adam Moorlach displayed his speed, earning first place in the 50-yard freestyle (22.05), with Tyler West adding a fourth-place finish (24.49)?.
In the 100-yard butterfly, Hudson Maakestad placed second (59.06), while Budde followed in fourth (1:00.88)?.
The 100-yard freestyle featured another dominant swim from Moorlach, who placed first (48.56), while Montgomery finished third (52.59)?.
Nguyen controlled the 500-yard freestyle, securing first place with a time of 5:06.60, while Raymond finished close behind in second place (5:14.21)?.
Farmington's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Moorlach, Raymond, Montgomery, and Nguyen continued their success, earning first place with a time of 1:33.36?.
In the 100-yard backstroke, Budde placed second (1:00.72), and West followed in fourth (1:07.80)?.
The meet concluded with a thrilling 400-yard freestyle relay, where the team of Gobar, Montgomery, Budde, and Nguyen took first place with a time of 3:34.18, keeping the Tigers in the fight until the final event?.
