Girls Soccer Battles to Scoreless Draw at Hastings

HASTINGS, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers girls soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with the Hastings Raiders on Friday afternoon in a non-conference matchup. The result moves the Tigers to 1-0-2 on the season.

RECAP
Farmington controlled much of the match, finishing with 60.1% possession and outshooting the Raiders 5-1. The Tigers created multiple opportunities in the final third, recording 12 crosses and earning seven corner kicks. Despite sustained pressure and a strong midfield presence, Farmington was unable to find the back of the net.

Defensively, the Tigers were solid throughout, limiting Hastings to just one shot while keeping the Raiders from building any consistent rhythm in the attacking half. Farmington also held a 322–232 edge in total passes, with a 59% success rate, including five pass strings of six or more.

The draw marked Farmington's second shutout in three matches to open the season.

UP NEXT
Farmington returns home to Tiger Stadium on Tuesday, September 2, for a 7:00 p.m. non-conference match against the New Prague Trojans.
