Girls Soccer Blanks New Prague, Stay Unbeaten with 1-0 Win

FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers girls soccer team continued their strong start to the season with a 1-0 victory over New Prague on Tuesday night at Tiger Stadium. The non-conference win improves the Tigers' record to 2-0-2.

RECAP
Farmington held a slight edge in possession (54%) and outshot the Trojans 9-6 in a tightly contested match. The Tigers capitalized on a well-executed attacking transition to score the game's only goal and then leaned on a disciplined back line to preserve the clean sheet.

The Tigers were active in the attacking third, generating 15 crosses and three corner kicks while maintaining consistent pressure throughout both halves. On the defensive side, Farmington limited New Prague's looks at goal and held them to a 51% pass completion rate.

Farmington also completed 182 successful passes on the night, with 60% accuracy and solid distribution across all thirds of the field.

The shutout was Farmington's third of the season through four matches.
