Tigers Football traveled to Edina on Friday, October 1. Farmington won big defeating Edina 54-20. Penalties and a turnover slowed the Tiger offense in the first half, but the Tigers worked their way to a 13-0 lead at the half. In the second half, the Farmington offense opened up scoring 41 points.
Connor Weed was 9/13 throwing for 130 yards and 1 TD. Rod Finely rushed for 120 yards on 19 carries and tallied 4 touchdowns.
Jeffrey Branson rushed 6 times for 67 yards and 1 TD.
Jonah Ask scored a 4-yard TD as well.
Rod Finely also caught 6 passes for 81 yards.
Brody Hanley scored a receiving touchdown recording 2 receptions for 15 yards on the night.
On defense,
Jonathan Shrum recorded a huge pick 6 intercepting an Edina pass on the Hornet's own 25 yard line and returning it for a TD.
