PRIOR LAKE, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers closed out their regular season schedule on Wednesday night with a 29-15 loss to Prior Lake at Laker Field. Despite a fourth-quarter lead and a resilient offensive performance, the Tigers were unable to hold off a late surge from the Lakers. Farmington finishes the regular season with a 4-4 record heading into the postseason.

Trailing 14-7 early in the fourth quarter, the Tigers' defense sparked momentum with a forced fumble, giving the offense possession at their own 19-yard line with just over 11 minutes to play. Farmington responded with its most sustained drive of the night—19 plays over 81 yards—culminating in a 4-yard touchdown run by Chris Rehak. The Tigers opted to go for two and successfully converted with another run from Rehak, putting Farmington ahead 15-14 with 3:30 remaining.
However, the lead was short-lived. On the ensuing kickoff, Prior Lake returned it 60 yards for a touchdown and added a two-point conversion to retake the lead, 22-15. Farmington's next possession stalled on fourth down, and the Lakers sealed the win with a 44-yard touchdown run on their next offensive play, extending the final margin to 29-15.
