FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers dropped their first game of the season on Friday night, falling 35-6 to Lakeville South in a South Suburban Conference matchup at Tiger Stadium. The loss brings Farmington's record to 3-1 on the year.
RECAP
Lakeville South opened the game with a 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and never looked back. The Cougars added two more rushing scores and a 6-yard passing touchdown to take a 28-0 lead into halftime. A 55-yard run in the third quarter extended the margin to 35-0 before Farmington broke through late in the fourth quarter.
Farmington's only score came on a 9-yard touchdown run by Chris Rehak, capping off a solid drive. Rehak finished the night with 54 yards on 14 carries. The Tigers totaled 243 yards of offense but struggled to capitalize in key moments.

Chris Rehak rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown to lead the offense. Austin Raveling added 69 yards on seven carries, while Ty Beck chipped in 59 rushing yards and 53 kickoff return yards. In the passing game, Thomas LeDuc and Chris Rehak each recorded catches, combining for 30 of the team's 32 passing yards. Defensively, several Tigers tallied multiple tackles, with Layne Johnson, Max Speratos, and Cole Wilcek among the leaders.

Farmington returns to Tiger Stadium on Friday, September 26, for its Homecoming matchup against Rosemount. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
