FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers snapped a three-game skid in decisive fashion Friday night, defeating the Shakopee Sabers 15-6 at Tiger Stadium in their final home game of the regular season. The Tigers' defense turned in a dominant performance, forcing five interceptions to secure the win and improve to 4-3 overall.

After a scoreless first quarter, Farmington opened the scoring in the second with a 20-yard touchdown run by Chris Rehak. Aiden Roche added the extra point to give the Tigers a 7-0 lead at halftime. Shakopee answered early in the third quarter with a 20-yard touchdown run of their own, but the extra point was blocked, keeping Farmington in front 7-6.
The Tigers pulled away in the fourth quarter behind another touchdown run from Rehak, this time from 15 yards out. On the ensuing two-point conversion, Austin Raveling powered across the goal line to make it 15-6. The Farmington defense did the rest, shutting down the Sabers and securing the win with multiple turnovers.
Farmington's secondary came up big throughout the night, recording five interceptions and preventing Shakopee from finding any rhythm in the passing game. The defensive front added pressure with tackles for loss and a sack to round out a complete team effort.
Top Tigers
- Chris Rehak led the offense with 116 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. He also completed 3 of 4 passes for 73 yards.
- Austin Raveling added 54 rushing yards on 17 carries and scored the two-point conversion.
- Cade Boyles contributed both in the passing game and as a receiver, totaling 36 all-purpose yards.
- Ty Beck caught two passes, returned punts, and contributed in the ground game with 26 rushing yards.
- The defense recorded five interceptions, led by a collective effort across the secondary and linebacker unit.
- Aiden Roche went 1-for-1 on PATs and connected on a field goal.
