Wrestling traveled to Edina High School on Saturday, December 3 to compete in the Edina Wrestling Invitational.
At 106, 8th grader
Blake Han-Lindemyer went 3-1 and claimed 3rd place with a 12-5 decision of Austin Schmidkunz of Hudson High School (WI).
Tyler Chenevert also went 3-1 and took home the 5th place title after winning his final match by decision 4-3.
At 126,
Davis Parrow went undefeated and claimed the 1st place title. He won the championship match with a 7-1 decision.
Zach Olson wrestled for 5th place at 132. Olson was 2-2 on the afternoon.
Ryder Anderson went 3-1 at the 145 weight and claimed the 5th place title. His only loss was his opening match in which he lost to the eventual champion.
Tyler Sullivan was 1-2 at the 160 weight. He advanced to the semifinals after a first round bye, and a quarterfinal victory by decision.Â
Edon Davis was a perfect 3-0 and won the 170 championship.
Nyikway Okongo was 1-2 at 182.
Cole Han-Lindemyer dominated the 195 weight class winning all four of his matches with two falls and two tech falls.
Dylan Henrikson was 3-1 at 220 claiming the third place title.
Gio Jackson was 1-1 at 285.
