The 2021-22 Section 1 AA Girls Hockey Tournament is set to begin on Wednesday, February 9.
Seeding for the Section 1 AA Tournament took place on Sunday, February 6. The Farmington Tigers have earned the #3 seed and will host the #6 seeded Owatonna Huskies at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 9 at the Schmitz-Maki Arena in Farmington.
There are 8 teams participating in the Section 1 AA Tournament. The coaches have seeded the teams as follows.
- #1 Lakeville South
- #2 Northfield
- #3 Farmington
- #4 Lakeville North
- #5 Dodge County
- #6 Owatonna
- #7 Rochester Mayo
- #8 Rochester Century/JM

Farmington and Owatonna met only once this season. The Tigers hosted the Huskies on Tuesday, December 28 in their first game of the 2021 Louis Schmitz Holiday Classic.
Farmington won a close game, 4-3.
The Section 1 AA quarterfinal games will be played on Wednesday, February 9, the semifinals on Saturday, February 12, and the Section Championship game will be played on Thursday, February 17. Quarterfinal and semifinal rounds will be played at the home site of the highest seed while the Section Championship game will be played at the Steele County Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna.
All section games have a $10 ticket price for adults and $6 price for students. SSC passes will not be accepted. Only valid Region 1 AA passes will grant admission.
Tickets will go on sale at Noon on Sunday, February 6 and can be purchased at the
Farmington Ticket Box Office.
