A group of Farmington boys and girls track & field athletes traveled to Hamline University on Friday, April 29 to compete in the Hamline Elite Meet.
On the girls side, sophomore Mackenzy Lippold ran the 3200m run finishing in 9th place and earning a PR time of 11:26.50. The Farmington 4x400m relay team of Ava Sullivan, Vanessa Ogumanam, Lauren Lansing, and Marianah Scott earned a 2nd place finish and a time of 4:04.23. Junior Julia Gordon would finish in 8th placed in the high jump clearning 4-10.00.
For the boys, Junior
Jonathan Shrum set a few PRs including his 8th place finish in the 100m dash and a time of 10.98. Senior
Ramy Ayoub earned himself 1st place in the 800m run with a time of 1:56.08. The boys 4x200m relay team of
Jonathan Shrum,
Ben Buesgens,
Brandon Everett, and Rod Finley placed 7th with a time of 1:32.41. The Tigers' 4x400m relay team earned a 4th place finish with a time of 3:28.21. Team members include Rod Finley,
Ben Buesgens,
Riley Hanson, and
Ramy Ayoub. The boys' 4x800m relay team of
Riley Hanson, Zach Hanson,
Mason Sullivan, and
Austin Alexander placed 12th.
