Girls Hockey welcomed Minnetonka to Schmitz-Maki Arena on Tuesday, December 20. Farmington put up a fight but lost the game 7-2.
Minnetonka only netted one first period goal as the Tiger defense held strong.Â
In period two, both teams scored a flurry of goals. Minnetonka poured on 4 goals before
Makenna Kadrlik and
Morgan Mitchell answered with two Farmington goals. The Skippers would tack on one more late-period goal to build a 5-2 lead at the break.
Tonka would slip two more goals past the netminder in the final period to wrap up the contest.
