Lakeville, Minn. - The Farmington Tigers Softball (3-2, 3-2 SSC) program picked up a big South Suburban Conference and Section 1 AAAA victory on Monday night at Lakeville North.
The game remained scoreless until North's Nora Brandt sent a solo shot over the left field fence to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead. The Panthers would get runners to first and second base before
Kayla Schweich retired the side to end the inning.
Farmington would get on the board in the top of the 5th inning after
Lexi Goring safely stole second and an errant throw from the catcher to second scored
Brynn Lickfelt to tie the score 1-1.
Leah Oistad singled on an 0-2 count to send Goring home and give the Tigers their first lead of the game.Â
Lakeville North tied the game back up, 2-2, in the bottom of the 5th when the Panthers sent their second solo homerun over the fence.
Top of the 6th,
Payton Boyd scored on another Panther error to give the Tigers back the lead, 3-2.Â
Kamryn Hughes would double on her next at bat sending
Brynn Lickfelt home to add another run.

Hailey Hansen would put the game out of reach in the top of the 7th inning when she sent a three-run homer over the center-field wall.
