Tiger Have Season-Best Day at Emerald Greens

The Farmington Girls Golf Team traveled to Emerald Greens Golf Course on Friday, May 12th to compete in the Dakota County Classic. The weather was spotty all day, but kept dry enough for the ladies to give it their best, and that's exactly what they did.

The Tigers Came away from the match with a season low score of 374! Four of the tigers shot their personal best for the season, led by eighth grader Jayla Mao, who shot an 86! Jayla was steady all day with 8 pars and 6 bogeys. Followed closely behind her, was junior Kailey Watson and sophomore Annika Reuss, who both shot 92, and both also finished with season bests. The final scorer of the group was Scarlett Hedrick (8th) who continued to bring down her average and shot a 104. Shelby Burns (12) and Olivia Mackie (12) shot 107 and 114 respectively. The tigers placed 6th out of 12 teams

The girls will be back in action on Monday, May 15th for a 9 hole match with Lakeville North, and then will be off for the rest of the week.
