Austin, Minn. - After a second-round loss to #5 Lakeville North, Farmington headed to the elimination bracket with a long road ahead to secure a State Tournament berth.

The Tigers prevailed notching 5 consecutive victories en route to their Section 1 AAAA championship and state tournament trip.

Tuesday, May 30

Farmington defeated Northfield 4-2 and defeated Owatonna 5-2.

Thursday, June 1

Farmington defeated Lakeville North twice. In game 1, the Tigers defeated North 15-0 and in game 2 Farmington won 10-2.
