ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers wrestling team showcased grit at the 2024 MatBoss Minnesota Christmas Tournament, held at the Rochester Mayo Civic Center, finishing 14th out of 41 teams. The Tigers were led by Davis Parrow, who captured the individual championship at 145 pounds and was named the tournament's Outstanding Wrestler.

Parrow's dominance was evident throughout the tournament as he cruised to the title with a perfect 5-0 record. His path to the championship featured a fall in just 41 seconds, a technical fall, and a major decision in the quarterfinals. Parrow secured his title with a narrow 12-11 victory over Kellen Wolbert of Oconomowoc in the finals.
Tyler Chenevert also delivered an outstanding performance at 121 pounds, compiling a 6-1 record and securing a 3rd place finish. Chenevert rebounded after a quarterfinal loss to win four straight matches in the consolation bracket, including a 5-3 decision in the 3rd place match against Owen LaRose of Mounds View.
At 139 pounds, Ethan Mangowi battled his way to a 10th place finish with a 4-3 record. Mangowi earned multiple hard-fought victories, including a 4-1 decision over Caden Borgen of St. Francis.
Blake Han-Lindemyer placed 11th at 127 pounds, going 4-3. He claimed crucial victories in the consolation rounds, including a 10-4 decision over Drezden Short of Simley.
Farmington's depth was further highlighted by strong contributions from Josh Walker at 189 pounds (3-2), while Mason Stenson (107), Chase Stevens (152), and Easton Clark (160) each recorded valuable wins.
