Softball Improves To 3-1 With Pair Of Wins Over Eastview

Apple Valley, Minn. -- In a weekend doubleheader against Eastview, the Farmington Tigers showcased their dominance, securing a pair of victories and advancing to a 3-1 record.

The Tigers started strong in the first game, defeating the Lightning decisively with a final score of 11-1. Notably, in the top of the fourth inning, Lexi Goring's single drove in Leah Oistad, extending Farmington's lead. The Tigers continued to command the game, demonstrating their offensive prowess with notable performances by Hannah Hansen, who doubled to bring in two runs in the top of the third.

In the second game, Farmington maintained their momentum, beating Eastview with a final score of 9-5. The Tigers once again took control early on, with a commanding lead established by the bottom of the first inning, where they scored five runs. Olivia McMahon's single and Kaydence Moe's single were pivotal in securing Farmington's early advantage. Despite a late push from Eastview in the top of the seventh inning, Farmington held their ground, securing the victory and the doubleheader sweep.
