Farmington Football traveled to Lakeville North on Thursday, October 13 for a district match-up with the Panthers. Farmington lost the game 13-14.

Senior Jonathan Shrum would score the game's first points on a 69-yard scramble that gave the Tigers a 7-0 lead in quarter number 1.

In the second quarter, Lakeville North would tie the game with a short pass play to the endzone. A Tiger turnover on the next drive would give Lakeville North a scoring chance before the half. With under 2 minutes left to play in the game's first half, Lakeville North extended their lead to 14-7.

The third quarter, and most of the fourth quarter, would remain scoreless as both teams turned the ball over multiple times.

With less than one minute left to play in the game, a draw play to Jonathan Shrum would score a touchdown leaving the Tigers trailing by just one point.

Farmington would elect to go for the two-point conversion rather than kick the game-tying extra point. Although the Tigers would convert the two-point conversion, the play was called back on a questionable penalty. 

The Tigers elected to then kick the extra point to tie the game, however, it was blocked.

Jonathan Shrum finished the game 7/8 passing with 42 yards. Baiden Bean threw for 32 yards on 13 attempts. 

Brock Wyandt caught 5 passes for 20 yards. 

Jonathan Shrum rushed for a team-high 217 yards and scored both of the Tigers' touchdowns.

Caleb Griffin lead the team defensively with 9 tackles and a fumble recovery.
